Alan Clegg
Owner
After graduating from Utah State University with a degree in Business Administration, Alan decided that Salt Lake City needed a better option for handcrafted, locally made plantation shutters and thus Wasatch Shutter Design was born in 1996. He has worked to build a company that focuses on a superior product as well as superior customer service. In addition to managing the company, Alan often goes on sales consultations, meets with builders and inspects products to ensure that he always has a feel for how the company is performing and to get ideas for improvements. He enjoys cycling and has competed in many races throughout the country. He also has a passion for woodworking with traditional hand tools as well as helping his sons work on their Jeeps.
Julie Collett
Sales Representative
Julie started working at Wasatch Shutter in 2008 and has been in the interior design industry since 1998. She studied interior design at BYU and The University of Utah and has a passion for helping people choose shutters that improve the look and feel of their home. Julie admires artists Mies Vander Rohe and Frank Lloyd Wright. She also enjoys many outdoor activities such as horseback riding, rock climbing, hiking, biking and waterskiing. In the colder months Julie likes to read, quilt and spend time with her family.

Christine Cole
Sales Representative
Christine has been in the interior design industry for over 20 years after studying fine arts at the University of Utah. She started at Wasatch Shutter in 2011 and enjoys helping people find solutions for their homes that are both beautiful and that provide lasting value. Christine admires designers Edyta Sitar, Sarah Richardson and Marian Parsons. Her hobbies include quilting, gardening, all things interior design and remodeling as well as traveling.

Terry Clark
Sales Representative
Terry has been helping customers at Wasatch Shutter since 2007 and has been in the home building industry since 1998. He attended LDS Business College and has had many positions helping customers find the right products for their homes. Terry has many hobbies including golf, cars and music; he is an accomplished drum player. He also has his private pilots license. Terry admires the authors Richard Paul Evans and Napoleon Hill as well as the music artists The Eagles, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Chicago. Terry’s greatest accomplishment is being the proud grandfather to six grandchildren.
