Take a look at the great recommendation from Bill Gephardt, “If you are looking for a company you can trust to improve the appearance of your windows, a company I would trust is Wasatch Shutter Design.  I trust them because we have investigated their business practices, and the way they treat their customers. And as a result, I am proud to endorse Wasatch Shutter Design and declare them Gephardt Approved.”

Alan Clegg initially started Wasatch Shutter Design in 1996 after working in the industry. He saw a strong need for change, a higher quality product with better customer service. A few months later he teamed up with Blake Christensen, and they have built Wasatch Shutter Design to serve the entire state of Utah, parts of Idaho and Wyoming.

Wasatch Shutter Design manufactures all of the products they sell in their own Salt Lake factory; including, premium basswood, specialty woods, synthetic and composite shutters. Blake says bringing the manufacturing process to Utah solved a huge deficiency in the industry. “There was a long delay customers had to put up with to have the shutters installed,” he says.  “Once a customer ordered, it was taking 8-12 weeks to have it installed. By manufacturing the shutters ourselves, we can decrease these wait times.”

Blake says their goal today is the same as it was when he opened Wasatch Shutter Design 15 years ago: To create and continually improve upon a high quality product in a shorter amount of time. Our main goal is to help you find the product that works the best for you: in your home, in your budget.”

So, Wasatch Shutter Design: Now you know what Bill Gephardt knows about their business practices, and how they treat their customers. And you know why he is proud to endorse Wasatch Shutter Design as Gephardt Approved.
