We offer a variety of material choices that can be selected by the customer. Cost and appearance can determine which choice is best for each indivdual home owner. The four primary materials we use to construct our shutters are:
- Premium Basswood which can be painted or stained.
- Specialty Woods such as Oak, Maple, Walnut, Mahogany, Hickory, Cherry, Pine and VG Fir. Alder is our most common specialty wood.
- Synthetic a Solid wood-like material that comes in limited paint colors and is waterproof and very durable.
- MDF: This is not wood, but rather wood flour and resin.
