Fast and Easy Window Decorations for Valentine's Day

Decorating windows for the holidays is a fun activity that even the youngest of family members can do.  For those of you who, like me, live in a house full of young children, decorating for holidays isn’t just fun, it’s required.  One of my kids’ favorite parts of decorating is the windows.  They love to share their holiday enthusiasm with everyone passing by.  If you haven’t thought about decorating your windows for Valentine’s Day, here are a few inexpensive ideas you can do in an afternoon.

Pompom garlands are great for any holiday; just mix up the colors.  Since they’re crafted of pompoms, they’re automatic winners with the kids.  All you’ll need is a big bag of pompoms in the colors of your choice, some thread, and a needle.  Transparent thread will give the illusion the pompoms are floating, but any color will do.
