Christmas Decor for Your Windows

Ideas for Christmas decorEvery Christmas enthusiast is looking for new ways to decorate their home this holiday season.  You’ve already decked the halls, draped the banisters, hung the mistletoe, decorated the tree, strung your outdoor lights and more, but aren’t you forgetting something?  Have you decorated your windows?  Your windows are the only thing that people see on both the inside and outside your home – so they should be top priority when it comes to decorating.  Read on for five ways to decorate your windows this holiday season.

Christmas Garlands

The simplest way to decorate your windows is to drape a beautiful garland across the top and sides of the window.  A few evergreen garlands will do the trick.  The fun thing about garlands is that they can be personalized to fit your home.  String lights around the vine or stick candy, ornaments, ribbon, or anything else that will fit the other decorations of your home into the garland.

Christmas Scenes

You can easily create a Christmas scene in your window sill and on the window panes themselves.  Use your windows to tell a story. If you have lots of windows facing the front of your home, you can tell a different story with each window.  Some ideas are: angels, Bethlehem, a nativity, a cut out of Santa Claus arriving at a home, etc.
